GRIT is a multi-stakeholder group that advises the MCPS deputies on implementation of Policy IKA, Grading and Reporting. The team provides input and feedback on various aspects of implementation including communication, professional development, and evaluation. Secondary Learning Center Transition Project Management Team

The team is to develop and monitor a comprehensive plan to provide appropriate services and supports for students who would have been considered for a Secondary Learning Center placement and for students who choose to leave a LC and return to their home or consortia schools. The team is also charged with developing and monitoring the implementation of a plan to improve instruction in the Secondary Learning Centers as long as they remain open. |
