Bylaws Linna Barnes	Maintains the MCCPTA Local PTA/PTSA by-laws file and initiates amendments to MCCPTA by-laws as needed. Conducts workshops to assist local PTAs with by-laws procedures.
Capital Improvement Program Budget Steve Augustino	Reviews and coordinates work of PTAs relating to the MCPS Capital Improvements Program and monitors the implementation of the MCPS Facilities Policy. Develops MCCPTA budget position statements.
Communications Patti Twigg	To provide means for MCCPTA to communicate quickly and effectively with the local PTAs. The more information that our locals have, the better they are able to advocate. It is also important that locals are kept informed of MCCPTA activities for communication to their members.
Cable TV subcommittee VACANT	Provides programming focused on the mission of PTA and current activities of local PTAs and children.
Listservs subcommittee Patti Twigg	This committee is responsible for maintaining the four MCCPTA email lists: MCCPTA_Bulletin, MCCPTA_Delegates, MCCPTA_Board and MCCPTA_Presidents.
Public Relations subcommittee	Furthers community awareness of MCCPTA's work by publicizing MCCPTA activities and positions. Serves as a liaison to the media, speaks for MCCPTA as requested and advises on public relations matters
Spotlight subcommittee VACANT	Solicits and writes items for spotlight feature on Web page which highlights the achievements of local units and the council.
Website subcommittee Lin-Lin Mao Sharon Goodall	Provides education and news about PTA on the MCCPTA website.
Cultural Arts Randy Chin	Oversees an introductory workshop for cultural arts chairs from local schools, and supports high-quality performances to enrich the educational program of children in MCPS. Shares successful programs among local schools and cooperates with the chair of the Superintendent’s Committee for Performances in the Schools.
Curriculum Ted Willard Sharon Schulman	Seeks to acquaint MCCPTA and local PTAs with new and changing curriculum developments at the national, state and county levels. Attends the MCPS Curriculum Advisory Committee meetings. Advocates for curriculum issues.
Down County Consortium Coordinator Sally Taber	Coordinates the efforts of the PTAs in the Down County Consortium with special attention to the needs of the high school consortium programs and the vertical articulation process from middle school to high school.
English Speakers for Other Languages (ESOL)	Focuses on the needs of ESOL children and their families by providing information and support. Serves as a liaison to MCPS committees.
Finance Dale Ryan	Establishes the annual budget, reviews the financial statements and audit report for MCCPTA.
Gifted Child Holly Gaut	Focuses on the needs of gifted children by providing information, guidance, and support to PTAs. Serves as liaison to MCPS committees.
Grading and Reporting Beth Kennington	Monitors implementation of the grading and reporting policy within MCPS. Provides information to local PTA/PTSAs on Grading and Reporting procedures.
Guidance and Counseling Ann Gallagher	Serves as a liaison to the MCPS Advisory Committee on Guidance and Counseling. Provides information and resources to guidance advisory committees at the local schools. Also follows guidance curriculum and staffing issues.
Health Tracy Fox	Advocates for healthy school environments and the provision of resources to the local schools for health and substance abuse issues. Representation from this committee serves on the Montgomery County School Health Council.
High School Sharon St. Pierre	Focuses on issues relating to curriculum, graduation and exploration of models of learning at the high school level. Plans and presents a high school conference.
Student Service Learning (SSL) subcommittee Karen Judson	Work on continuous improvement of Student Service Learning Hours (SSL) to make them meaningful and of increased quality. Help with communication of PTA’s on requirements of SSL and opportunities for students to earn hours.
Legislative Victor Salazar	Assists MCCPTA with advocacy in state and county education issues and legislation, and represents MCCPTA on county, state and federal legislative committees. Serves as liaison with Maryland PTA and the National PTA. Informs MCCPTA delegates on legislative issues and changes.
MCCPTA Office Jane de Winter	Oversees the operation of the MCCPTA office and supervises the office manager.
Membership Susan Stavenhagen	Strives to increase PTA membership in order to foster commitment to PTA mission and objects. Provides support to local PTAs in their membership outreach efforts.
Middle School Ellen Paul	Addresses issues at the middle school level, coordinating work with other MCCPTA committee chairs on projects relating to middle school interests and sharing successful programs among local PTAs.

Blair, Einstein, Kennedy, Northwood Sally Taber - AVP B-CC, Walter Johnson, Walt Whitman, Wheaton Deborah Missal – B-CC Cluster Coordinator At-Large Cleat Kennedy – PTA President Daly ES	Nominates candidates for MCCPTA elected officers and oversees nomination of Area Vice Presidents and Cluster Coordinators. This committee consists of seven members, one from each area and one at large.
Operating Budget John Hall	Develops MCCPTA operating budget position statements and provides information and support to local PTAs on operating budget issues.
Parent Involvement Elisia George	Monitors and assists in the implementation of the MCPS Parent Involvement Policy and supports local PTAs in their parent involvement efforts.

Reflections Melissa McDonald Chuck Benjamin	Oversees the Reflections Program, a National PTA program, offering students an opportunity to submit and display their creative work.
Safety Pam Moomau	Monitors the implementation of the MCPS Security Plan and informs and supports local PTAs on issues related to safety of students in the schools.
Special Education Jennifer Zaranis	Works to ensure the timely and appropriate implementation of laws regarding the education of special needs children. Supports the local school committees and serves as a resource on MCPS alternative programs.
Special Events April Keyes	Arranges for hospitality (food and beverages) at specified MCCPTA dinners and events.
Technology Linda White	Provides assistance to local PTAs and MCCPTA in the use of technology in education, to identify computer-related needs, and to help meet those needs.
Training DeBora King	Works with the Maryland PTA to plan and provide PTA training. Responds to training requests from local PTAs. Builds a cadre of trainers, and works cooperatively with MCPS on joint training for parents and staff.
